چکیده

Three neurodegenerative disorders- Alzheimer’s dementia (ALZ), Parkinson’s disease (PD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)- share a common feature in their pathogenesis: evidence of mitochondrial dysfunction reactive oxygen stress. Their pathologic classifications are based on the findings at autopsy patterns protein aggregates neurons glial cells. This pathology supports concept that neurotoxins major factor etiology these disorders. There is value exploring similarities pathogenesis ALS, Parkinson Disease Alzheimer Dementia non-genetic etiologies. Infectious diseases due to Ewingella americana

Ewingella americana are Gram-negative, oxidase-negative, catalase-positive, lactose-fermenting, and bacterium that is as a new genus and species in the family Enterobacteriaceae. Ewingella americana is very public in some potatoes and mushrooms, in which it can cause a browning disorder called internal stipe necrosis. However, in humans, the discovery of Ewingella americana in the tissues and b...

Treating the Periphery to Ameliorate Neurodegenerative Diseases

Abnormalities in the kynurenine pathway are associated with neurodegenerative disorders. Zwilling et al. (2011) show that inhibition of kynurenine 3-monooxygenase in the body's periphery leads to an increase in kyneuric acid, a neuroprotective compound, in the brain. This intervention ameliorates neurodegeneration in mouse models of Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease.

Materials and Metabolites of Kynureinine Pathway in Neurodegenerative Diseases and Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract Background & aim: Kynurenine pathway (KP) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative disorders. In neurodegenerative diseases (NDD) such as Parkinson's disease (PD), Alzheimer's disease (AD), Huntington's disease (HD) and Multiple sclerosis (MS), brain neurons are initially involved and gradually disappear. In the present review article, the ...

The BMP signaling pathway at the Drosophila neuromuscular junction and its links to neurodegenerative diseases.

The Drosophila neuromuscular junction (NMJ) has recently provided new insights into the roles of various proteins in neurodegenerative diseases including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP), and Huntington's Disease (HD). Several developmental signaling pathways including WNT, MAPK and BMP/TGF-β signalin...
